The Press conference held on the afternoon of Sunday, the 9th of 2008 was a success. The media was present at the venue of IMAX Adlabs much before the conference was scheduled to begin. This film that is planned to be released in India on the 14th of March is a must watch for youths. The distributors of the film Mr. Jay Bajaj and Hari Vanjani were present in place of the director Mr. Cristian Mungio who is the brain behind the script of the movie.
Talking to Mr. Jay Bajaj, one of the distributors of the film, he explains that the movie set in Romania portrays two girls who are in such a circumstance due to which one gets pregnant and has to get the baby aborted. The tribulations and trials they have to go through leave the viewers horrified making them think whether such a thing can really happen. A must watch for the youth is what Mr. Bajaj had to advise. On talking about the expectations he had from the Indian viewers he said that the day it was screened almost ninety percent of the seats were full which made it clear that the movie was indeed liked by everyone.
On discussions about the absence of his director Mr. Bajaj specified that the director was busy with a script and was really working very hard on it. He also revealed that the movie was first screened at Cannes Film fest before it was screened in Romania and was well received by the audience. On speaking about the camera techniques used in film he said that the most of the shorts were taken in a single take to bring more effect to the scenes. Asked about the money put in distribution, Mr. Bajaj didn’t reveal the exact amount but did manage to say that it was more than the returns or recovery that they expect.
